Unwind at Ak-Suu Hot Springs: A Relaxing Retreat Near Karakol

We recommend our guests visit the Ak-Suu Hot Springs, located just 15 km from Karakol. It's an ideal place to unwind on rainy, snowy, or cold days or during evenings. It's best to avoid going on sunny and hot days. In the summer, opt for rainy days or evenings.

To reach Ak-Suu Hot Springs via public transportation, head to the Ak-Tilek+ markets bus station near the intersection of Aldashev and Jamansariev streets. Here is the map that I have prepared for you. Please check for the marshrutka and hot springs location here

Look for the #350 minibus (marshrutka) displaying an Ak-Suu Kurort (Ак-Суу Курорт) sign. The marshrutka costs around 50 soms per person and takes about 20-25 minutes to reach the hot springs. Alternatively, a taxi for up to four passengers costs around 400 soms. Please download the Yandex Taxi application to your phone. You can order with this app. The app has an English interface.

As you approach the mountains, you'll spot the hot springs on your right. Check out their Instagram account for more information: https://www.instagram.com/aksuu_kench/

The naturally heated water flows from the ground, filling three pools. One pool is extremely hot, while the other two maintain a comfortable temperature. The entrance fee is 300 soms per person.

Before and after enjoying the pools, guests can use the showers located within the wooden building on-site. A dining room is available, offering food and drinks for purchase.

If you're interested in visiting Ak-Suu Hot Springs, we can help you arrange a taxi or provide directions for taking the marshrutka.
